Symi and Rhodes day trip from D Maris Bay

What the day looks like
Out early, clear Turkish formalities, and across. Symi's harbour at Yialos is ochre, cream and terracotta neoclassical houses stacked around one narrow bay — arrive before the ferries and it is quiet. Rhodes is about three hours further if you want the walled old town rather than the harbour.
The paperwork, honestly
A Turkish transit log, an outward clearance, a crew list that matches passports exactly, and an inward clearance in Greece. None of it is difficult and all of it is slow. Seven days is the minimum and it is not negotiable — this is the one thing we cannot arrange the night before.
