An office in Chicago for contracts and the American season. The boats are run from Marmaris by people who have spent their working lives on this coast.
Why we exist
Most charter companies on this coast are offices with a website and a phone. They have never been aboard the boat they are selling you. We started Nimara because we kept meeting guests who had been put on the wrong vessel by somebody who had never seen it.
Every boat we offer has been inspected aboard by us this season. If the generator cannot run the air conditioning overnight at anchor, we say so on the page. It costs us bookings. It is the only way we know how to do this.
Two offices
Marmaris handles the boats, the crews, the port paperwork and the water. Chicago handles contracts, US and Canadian clients, and the hours when Türkiye is asleep. Between them somebody is awake for twenty hours of every day in season.
Five things we will not do
- We will not quote a price that grows later. APA, fuel, port and anchorage fees are on the first quote.
- We will not put you on a boat we have not been aboard this season.
- We will not run a route the forecast says is wrong. We move you and send the forecast.
- We will not take a deposit before you have the full terms in writing.
- We will not tell you a bareboat is easy here if your certificate says otherwise.
