Our own yard at Bozburun — haul-out, winter storage and refit
Boats up to 24 metres come out of the water at Bozburun, on the peninsula where gulets have been built for four generations. Charter with us in the same year and haul-out, launch and monthly storage are 15% less.
Why we built a yard
Because for years we were the customer, and every winter we waited two weeks for a bracket that took an afternoon to make. Running our own fleet meant we already had the carpenters, the welder and the painters on the payroll. Opening the gate to other boats was the obvious next step.
The 15% charter discount
If you chartered a boat from us at any point in the same calendar year, or if we manage your yacht, the yard takes 15% off haul-out, launch and monthly hard standing. There is nothing to claim: tell us the booking reference when you ask for the quote and it is already in the number.
It does not cover parts bought in for you, subcontracted spray painting, or work another yard does on our site. We show you those invoices at cost and add nothing.
What the yard does
Haul-out and launch
Cradled, chocked and pressure washed the same hour it comes out, because antifouling growth comes off wet and sets like concrete once it dries.
Winter storage ashore
November to April on hardened ground, power and water at the cradle, and a man who walks the yard after every storm and sends photographs if anything has moved.
Antifouling and topsides
Wash, sand, fair and two coats. We use hard antifouling on charter boats because they sit still for days and soft paint does not survive a season of it.
Wood, caulking and joinery
Deck seams, plank repairs, toe rails, hatches and interior joinery, by men who learned it on gulets and still build them two hundred metres away.
Stainless and welding
Davits, pulpits, bimini frames, passerelle repairs and one-off brackets, made here rather than ordered from Istanbul and waited on for a fortnight.
Survey support and refit
Boat out, keel bolts exposed, moisture readings taken and the surveyor given somewhere dry to write. We do the opening up and the closing back.
