Booking, payment, cancellation, what the price covers, and who decides the route.
Booking and payment
A charter is confirmed when a signed agreement and a 50% deposit are received. The balance falls due 30 days before boarding. Bookings made inside 30 days are payable in full. Deposits are held in a client account until the charter starts.
Cancellation
More than 60 days before boarding, the deposit is refunded less a €350 administration fee. Between 60 and 30 days, the deposit is retained. Inside 30 days, the full charter fee is due. We recommend charter cancellation insurance in every case.
What the price covers
Crewed charter prices include the vessel, the full crew, fuel for the published route, standard provisioning, three meals a day and most anchorage fees. They exclude alcohol, meals ashore, port taxes in Greek waters, water-toy fuel and crew gratuity. Bareboat prices include the vessel, its safety equipment, dinghy and outboard; fuel, provisioning, the final clean and the security deposit are separate.
Weather and route changes
The captain has final authority over the route and may change it at any time for the safety of the vessel and her guests. A published itinerary is an intention, not a contract term. No refund is due for a route change made on safety grounds.
Bareboat requirements
Turkish regulations require the skipper of a bareboat charter to hold an internationally recognised certificate of competence and to sail with a second competent crew member. Certificates must be submitted at the time of booking. A security deposit is taken before handover and returned after the boat is inspected.
