Knidos and the tip
Knidos sits on the last headland with a harbour on each side, so a yacht can shelter from whichever direction the wind is in. Marble column drums, a round temple terrace and a theatre above two blue bays. Approach from the Gökova side in the morning and leave on the Hisarönü side after lunch.
Clearing into Greece from Datça
Datça is the customary port for clearing in and out when a charter crosses to Symi. The office is small and the queue is short compared with Marmaris. Symi is five miles across the strait; Rhodes is about three hours further.
