Daily boat trips and day yacht charter in Bodrum

Orak Island has the clearest water within an hour of Bodrum and Karaada has hot springs in the rock. Both are ruined by arriving at eleven with everybody else, which is the whole argument for a private boat.

Where the day goes

Boarding at nine or ten. Three or four bays, a long lunch cooked aboard at anchor, as much swimming as the children want, and back between five and seven. The captain sets the order in the morning from the forecast.

Common questions

How much is a private boat for the day?

From €1,300 for up to eight guests with a skipper, lunch cooked aboard and all anchorage fees. Larger boats for ten or twelve cost more; drinks are extra.

How far ahead should we book?

Two to three days in July and August, often the same day outside peak season if the weather is settled.

Can we choose the bays?

Yes — that is the point of a private boat. The captain will tell you honestly which ones are worth it on the day given the wind, and will move the order around to keep you out of the crowds.
