The whole front opens

The Bali design replaces the trampolines with a solid foredeck and folds the saloon's forward bulkhead up like a garage door, so the inside and the outside become one room. With a skipper and a cook aboard you never touch a line.

The crew

2 crew aboard for 10 guests, living on the boat all season.

Third year with them. This time our boat was in refit so they moved us, and the replacement was better than the one we had asked for. Nobody made a speech about it.

The food. I did not expect to be writing about the food, but the cook shopped the Datça market in front of us and we ate better on board than ashore all week.

Two children under seven and I was anxious about all of it. The crew had it worked out before we did — shallow bays, early dinners, and on the third night the cook made pasta without anyone asking.
