Thirty anchorages inside one bay, none more than an hour apart, all of it inside a national park. The easiest cruising ground in Turkey and the reason Göcek has six marinas for a village of four thousand.

Tersane Adası
An abandoned Greek village and the shipyard that gave the island its name, left in 1923. One restaurant. Walk up through the ruins before breakfast.

Bedri Rahmi (Taşyaka)
A fish painted on the rock by Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu in 1973 and repainted by his students since. Lycian rock tombs up the hill. Deep — line ashore.

Hamam Koyu (Cleopatra's Bath)
A submerged Roman bath house you can swim over in two metres of water. Protected — do not anchor on the masonry; use the buoys.
