Shallow for her size

Most 26-metre motor yachts draw well over two metres and spend the week anchored off the good bits. Levant draws 1.8 and gets inside the Yassıca lagoons and Hamam Bay, which is why she stays in Göcek all season.

The crew

4 crew aboard for 10 guests, living on the boat all season.

The food. I did not expect to be writing about the food, but the cook shopped the Datça market in front of us and we ate better on board than ashore all week.

Honest about what the boat was and was not. The air conditioning is loud at night — they told us that before we booked, which is why I am giving four stars and would still go again.

Two children under seven and I was anxious about all of it. The crew had it worked out before we did — shallow bays, early dinners, and on the third night the cook made pasta without anyone asking.
